Prospective Member Hike

Are you interested in joining El Paso County Search and Rescue?!
We will be hosting a hike for all interested in applying for the team this year. Bring a pack and get a feel for what it is like for a search and rescue volunteer to respond to a mission in the backcountry.
What you need:
– Sufficient clothing and boots for a hike on varied terrain
– Water
– A pack. We suggest a pack that weighs at least 35 pounds to mimic a SAR pack. If you do not have a suitable pack, then there will be a pack you can borrow for the hike.
Parking for this event will be in the UCCS Lot 580 on North Campus Heights (this is the lot across from Trader Joe’s)
