A Colorado Springs tradition started in 1979.
Welcome runners and walkers to our 46th year! New Year’s Day is right around the corner and we hope to see you there.
All proceeds from this event benefit El Paso County Search and Rescue (EPCSAR). EPCSAR is a mountain search and rescue team dedicated to saving lives through search, rescue, and mountain safety education.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the team depends upon contributions from individuals, groups, firms, and agencies interested in supporting its work. EPCSAR does not receive regular funding from local, state, or federal governments, and is staffed 100% by non-paid professionals that respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. There is never a charge for services.
Donations made during race registration will NOT be charged a processing fee.
RACE FEES / SCHEDULE / IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Register online until Dec 31. No race day registration.
5K and 10K start together at 10:00 am January 1.
Register early for savings!
Nov 1 – Nov 30 – $25 Entry Fee / $15 optional shirt (Long Sleeve Tech, unisex sizing xs – xxl)
Dec 1 – Dec 31 – $35 Entry Fee / $15 optional Shirt (Long Sleeve Tech, unisex sizing xs – xxl)
NOTE – You must be pre-registered by Dec 31 at 6:00 PM Mountain Time. There is NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.
