49th Annual Rescue Run
January 1, 2027 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Rain, Snow or 20 Below!
A Colorado Springs tradition since 1979.
Runners and walkers, we hope you’ll join us for our 49th year! Ring in the New Year with us at the Rescue Run!
All proceeds benefit El Paso County Search and Rescue (EPCSAR), a mountain search and rescue team dedicated to saving lives through search, rescue, and mountain safety education.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our team depends on contributions from individuals, groups, businesses, and agencies interested in supporting our mission. Every member of our team is a volunteer, ready to respond 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year. There is never a charge for our services.
The 5K and 10K start together at 10:00 am on January 1.
