DESCRIPTION:Rain\, Snow or 20 Below!\nA Colorado Springs tradition started in 1979. \nWelcome runners and walkers to our 48th year! New Year’s Day is right around the corner and we hope to see you there. \nAll proceeds from this event benefit El Paso County Search and Rescue. EPCSAR is a mountain search and rescue team dedicated to saving lives through search\, rescue\, and mountain safety education. \nAs a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization\, the team depends upon contributions from individuals\, groups\, firms\, and agencies interested in supporting its work. EPCSAR does not receive regular funding from local\, state\, or federal governments\, and is staffed 100% by non-paid professionals that respond 24 hours a day\, 7 days a week\, every day of the year. There is never a charge for services. \n5K and 10K start together at 10:00 am January 1. \nREGISTRATION OPENING SOON!
